Broadcast transmission method where data is transmitted will be distributed throughout the machine contained within the network, the fields that are contained in the package is the destination address of the packet is sent. The machine that receives the package was going to examine the fields that are in receipt of the package, if the package is intended for the machine, then the machine will process them, but if not the purpose of the package, then the machine will ignore the packet.

Broadcast networks have a single communication channel that is shared by all the existing machines on the network.

Point To Point








Point to point is usually directed to the destination address of the packet of data transmitted. And typically use one or more intermediaries machine. Consists of several individual pairs connection of machines.
To go from the source to the destination, a packet on this type of network may go through one or more intermediaries machines.
Often have to go through a lot of different possible routes away. Because of routing algorithm plays an important role in the network of point-to-point.
